Christopher James Gold Corp. (the "Company") was incorporated pursuant to the Company Act (British Columbia) on October 27, 1989 under the name 1855 Holdings Ltd. The Company changed its name to Christopher James Ltd. on December 19, 1989, to Christopher James Oil & Gas Ltd. on December 12, 1995 and to Christopher James Gold Corp. on May 3, 1996.
Pursuant to an initial public offering in September 1997, the common shares of the Company became publicly trading on the Vancouver Stock Exchange on November 10, 1997. As a result of the merger of the Vancouver Stock Exchange and the Alberta Stock Exchange, the Company's shares now trade on the TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange") under the symbol CJG.
