E. Max Baker Ph.D.
President
Dr. Baker is an exploration geologist with over 30 years international exploration experience in the Americas, Asia, Australia, and Europe. Most recently, Dr. Baker served as Director of Exploration for Oriel Resources plc, a London - based junior mining company with nickel and chromite projects in Kazakhstan and gold projects in the Russian Federation and Kyrgyzstan. He was previously Chief Geologist for Newcrest Mining Ltd., Chief Geologist (South America) for MIM Holdings Ltd., and Principal Geologist (Asia) for Renison Goldfield Corporation. Dr. Baker has also held senior technical and managerial positions with several junior mining companies, and his exploration experience ranges from grass roots level target generation and area selection through to the design and management of resource definition drilling programmes. He completed his B.Sc. (Honours) and Ph.D. at James Cook University of North Queensland.
Joseph E. Monette
Corporate Secretary, Chair of the Audit Committee
Joseph E. (Joe) Monette is the president and manager of a full-phase logging company situate in the interior of B.C. Having been born and raised in the interior of B.C. and been involved in the logging business during his entire working career, Joe has extensive "hands on" knowledge of business operations in the resource sector. He has also participated with several mineral exploration companies in infrastructure development including road building, mechanical trenching, and drill site preparation.
John Morgan
Director
Mr. Morgan is Chairman and a Director of Russell Brewing Company, and a partner with the Springboard Group of Companies (investment and management services). He has over 35 years in management, marketing, and sales including serving as President and CEO of Labatt Breweries of Canada from 1990 to 1993, as CEO of Versacold (Canada’s largest cold storage company), and as the CEO and President of Cryopak Industries Inc (a temperature-controlling packaging company). Mr. Morgan holds an MBA from Queen’s University.
Ian D. Robertson
Director
Mr. Robertson is a founding partner in the Vancouver law firm of Robertson & Company Law Partners LLP. He received his law degree from the University of Manitoba in 1970, and was a senior partner with Lang Michener specializing in mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations until 1992. In addition to his legal career, Mr. Robertson has served as a senior executive in a number of industries including finance, oil & gas, construction, communications, and technology. He has also been a director of several private and public companies.
